- Participate in preparing the company’s budget
- Plan, direct and manage the coordination of Company wide budget activities, including benchmarking, performance measurements and community standards review.
- Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for assigned programs; recommend and administer policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommend, within departmental policy, appropriate service and staffing levels.
- Conduct cost/benefit analyses.
- Prepare Cost Allocation Plan for the company.
- Review departmental staff reports related to the budget.
- Develop the forecast of funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; implement adjustments.
- Keep Financial Strategic Plan Model updated with these forecasts.
- Develop and maintain budget-related report programs; prepare regular financial reports to include budget-to-actual revenue and expenditure information; analyze significant variances and present information to the management.
- Prepare adopted budget for merge to the financial information system.
- Provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Finance Director.
- Attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the budget and finance.
- Respond to and resolve difficult and sensitive inquiries and complaints.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting and/or other Business courses
- At least 10 years experience in corporate finance
- Familiarity with forecasting methods and data analysis
- Knowledge in accounting best practices and regulations
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills; ability to explain budgeting and financial information/report in plain terms
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software
- Highest standard of accuracy and precision; highly organized
