Utility worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining company premises and equipment. Their job is to maintain the upkeep of company facilities, report broken equipment, inspect finished projects, and comply with state health and safety regulations. They perform routine maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning assigned work areas inside and outside of the property.
- Ordering and maintain cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure appropriate disposing of trash.
- Put on and off all lights before and after office hours
- Do errands for the other departments.
- Helps load and unload items/products from trucks.
- Follow all work, safety rules, and procedures.
- Helps to deliver items to clients or businesses.
- Assist stock personnel in handling inventory duties along with providing support in receiving, verifying, and storing office supplies.
- Required to work overtime if needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate in any field.
- Ability to read and interpret written work orders
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and techniques
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
- Must be hardworking and with a good attitude
