Video Creative Lead  

Wideout needs high-impact Creative Leads whose primary responsibility is to manage the project lifecycle including the strategy, design, development and delivery of video assets.

The Creative Lead follows a project from inception to completion, assuming responsibility for day-to-day management of the workflow. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining the project scope, timeline, assets, and overall quality of the deliverables. This person is a natural leader and enjoys participating in creative brainstorming and concept meetings. He or she excels when it comes to providing exceptional service and building trust with clients as well as the creative, design and technology teams. The Creative Lead is expected to protect the integrity of the creative while ensuring all client expectations are consistently met or exceeded. The ideal candidate is passionate about video production and editing, and has a strong intuitive understanding of timing, a good balance of creativity and attention to detail, a willingness to learn and research new subjects, and a good deal of pop culture knowledge.

Our ideal candidate is able to assemble and edit videos him or herself, as well as mentoring others to realize their vision.

Responsibilities

• Edit digital video and audio in non-linear editing platforms like Adobe Premiere
• Incorporate motion graphics into video post-production
• Production schedule creation and oversight
• Spec and asset management
• Responsible for flawless, effective communication with clients
• Learn all aspects of assigned clients' businesses
• Consistently manage and exceed client expectations
• Work closely with teams to ensure projects are delivered on strategy, on time
• Report regularly on account and team status

• Undergraduate education in media production or related field; students currently studying in this field are encouraged to apply
• Extensive experience with digital technology and editing platform (e.g. Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, Avid Media Composer, etc.)
• Experience in leading or mentoring other creatives a big plus
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Highly adaptable to changing business and client needs
