HTML5 Skills Coach  

As a Skills Development Coach you will be responsible for overseeing, training, and coaching a team that utilizes your domain of HTML5 expertise. You will be responsible for creating and discovering solutions, crafting templates and build guides, from onboarding new hires to making everyone expert practitioners. Ultimately, you will also be responsible for every aspect of the coaching/training process to increase the overall performance of the team.

Primary responsibility:

Ensure all resources are trained and equipped to take on all assigned tasks.

Audit/Control function:

• Audit work output for the accuracy of work estimates and performance against benchmarks and any other criteria applicable.
• Work with the Business Analyst to create and maintain performance benchmarks.

Management responsibilities:

• Report on status of skills and training.
• Provide feedback on resources to POCs, Supervisors on skill criteria against job requirements.
• Regularly evaluate team skill/competency against client needs and company values.
• Provide training for new hires, retraining, or cross-training as needed on their expertise.
• Ensure complete training materials and templates are available for all client requirements.
• Learn new products and processes rolled out to the team.
• Provide coaching/mentoring to team members as needed.

Coverage responsibilities:

• Perform as expert resource for new clients/activations.
• Serve as back-up resource for backfill, volume spikes, and absences (as needed).

• Bachelor’s degree in, Graphic Design, Computer Science/IT, Multimedia, or any equivalent field.
• Expert in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience in video editing and web designing is preferred.
• Previous supervisory/management experience within a BPO environment considered a plus.
• Deep understanding of digital publishing and rich media advertising.
• Knowledgeable in the following:
  • Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator should at least be at an intermediate level.
  • Adobe Flash (Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0) is a big plus.
  • Video Editing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Artistic, creative, and imaginative.
• Amenable to work in Makati City.
• Amenable to work on night shifts.
• Amenable to work during holidays or to render overtime when needed.
