Job Description
Digital Marketing Strategists are responsible for achieving the client’s strategic brand and business objectives by working with clients to provide them with guidance and working with the internal team to achieve execution of strategies. They serve a vital role in promoting the integration of cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless delivery of all work to the client. This candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions.
Responsibilities
- Act as Head of Digital Marketing – Centre of Excellence
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Manage Paid media (brand & performance marketing), Website, Content, Social, CRM, and eCommerce
- Apply broad based understanding of digital marketing
- Strategically plan out campaigns across all channels
- Architect and manage the consumer journey across these channels and define the appropriate consumer engagement at each touchpoint in the journey
- Understand metrics and attach KPI’s to every step in the consumer journey
- Analyze data and define recommendations and optimizations
- Team leader – sets strategic direction, manages a team of xx persons, direct interaction with senior client stakeholders to drive digital transformation agenda
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 8 years experience working with an agency or a client in the digital space
- Proven track record of success as Digital Marketing Strategist or Team Lead
- Strong campaign management experience including implementation, budget allocation and optimization strategies for multichannel campaigns.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and CRM software.
- Strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
