Print Production/Pre-press Technical Designer  

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop mechanical layouts for brochures, packaging, branding, and marketing collateral for existing clients and brands, with little guidance of the senior designers
• Check layout specs, including bleed, trim, resolution, color space, and file management
• Build, maintain, and release print files for prepress
• Stay keenly aware of production deadlines and manage time accordingly
• Working with set deadlines, manage expectations and follow up on projects with a strong sense of urgency
• Contribute to an environment that is efficient, professional, proactive, and team oriented
• Multitask in a fast-paced, creative space
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as in a team
• Must research and stay up to date with current industry trends and have a passion for print design, both digital and offset

• 1-3 years of professional graphic design experience at a design studio or agency
• Four-year design degree from an accredited college
• Strong Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop skills
• Attention to detail
• Process-oriented
• Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills
• Amendable to work on a Night Shift
