The Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our SAAS software into easy-to-use products for our clients. Our platforms are absolute game changers once they are up and running. Be part of this exciting startup opportunity and apply now!
We are looking for an inventive UI/UX Designer that will design graphic elements, build navigation components and start wireframes with the Tech Team. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
The successful candidate will create both functional and appealing features that address our user’s needs and make our platforms aesthetically appealing for our customers.
Our system is website based for now, and will want it to be mobile responsive. We also intend to have mobile app in the future.
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with managers and developers
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback
- Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces
- Illustrate design ideas using process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphics user interfaces elements like menus, tabs, widgets, input controls, navigational components, and informational components
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Test for intuitivity and experience, QA, identify and troubleshoot UX problems
- Optimize existing user interface designs based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Other design tasks as required
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role for web and mobile applications
- Experience in ecommerce is a super plus
- Portfolio of web design projects
- Knowledge of wireframe tools
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator, XD and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
