Job Description
- Oversee, direct and review the daily operations of the finance team
- Review daily journal entries and ensure that the journal entries posted are complete and accurate for Waste4Change Company
- Responsible for accounting, bookkeeping and administration on a daily basis and timely financial closing every month
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or reports for Waste4Change, shareholders, taxes, regulatory agencies, and other financial groups related to company finances
- Establish and enforce appropriate accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action
- Oversee budget reports, budget preparation, and budget analysis
- Document and interpret financial information that is easy for managers and executives to understand
- Provide advice on financial management and procedures and develop policies
- Monitor debt aging and liquidity
- Ensure completeness of accruals and provisions at monthly closing
- Meet financial accounting objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Finance and Accounting
- At least 3 to 4 years prior supervisory experience in the Accounting/Financial area.
- Strong competency in Accounting and Financial, including Financial Statement, Tax, Ledger, Advance AR/AP, and such.
- High ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required.
