Job Description
- Performs a wide range of complex professional accounting duties in the analysis, preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports; makes complex and difficult accounting analyses and reports; and performs related duties as assigned.
- Supervision and coordination of recording accumulation and monitoring of accounting transactions and custody of all transaction files and reports.
- Preparation of reliable daily cash position report.
- Submission of timely monthly reports to the management and government agencies and to properly monitor compliance therewith.
- Coordination and supervision of account analysis and their corresponding subsidiary ledgers on a monthly basis.
- Formulation of accounting procedures and policies to strengthen the company’s internal control and to be able to maintain an updates accounting manual.
- Monitoring of sales and related transactions and be able to implement a timely collection of receivables.
- Prepare the following reports:
- Comparative Financial statements
- Annual reports for submission to the following: Bureau of Internal Revenue, External Audit, Securities and Exchange Commission
- Verifies/Reviews the following documents:
- Official receipts
- Checks and check vouchers including journal entries
- Daily Cash Position Report
- Reconciles the cash in bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Accounting
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in the general accounting.
- Tremendous organizational skills.
- Very deadline-sensitive.
- Performs well under pressure.
- Proactive.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to use and quickly learn computer systems as well as comprehend technical information.
