Job Description
- Oversee production of feed products to ensure efficient production according to schedule
- Monitor and minimize shrink in raw materials and finished goods
- Oversee receiving of raw materials and delivery of finished goods to ensure correct products are received and loaded in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform daily inventory measurements and counts and complete documentation according to established guidelines.
- Ensure accurate information is entered into procurement and inventory management systems.
- Optimize inventory levels for short and longer term within the warehouse in order to support plant/location operations.
- Ensure warehouse operations are align with the policies and procedures.
- Oversees all aspects of the preventive maintenance program
- Reports and assist with all injuries and investigations
- Ensures safety and well-being employees through safety meetings, safety training, safety documentation and continually striving for zero accidents
- Enforces and is responsible for all safety procedures and processes necessary to maintain a safe working environment
- Provides for good “housekeeping” practices
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to performance and disciplinary actions of direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing and warehouse operation.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a relevant industry.
- Knowledge of production planning and inventory control.
