Job Description
- Monitors the loading of finished goods ensuring that goods are properly loaded to transport carriers and all necessary documents are authorized and approved.
- Inspects the physical condition of transportation in conformance with proper procedures, ensuring that there are no possible infestation, contamination, or other non-conformance situations. Organizes the cleaning or fumigation of trucks/vehicles if needed.
- Prepares loading guide for forklift operators.
- Coordinates with warehouse/production coordinators during direct loading operation ensuring the proper documentation of incoming and outgoing of products.
- Reviews, validates and confirms loading summary based on documentation ensuring that all documents tally and that there is no variance.
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse facilities to ensure the proper safekeeping of finished goods and compliance to safety and quality standards.
- Ensures the accuracy of inventory balances by regularly reviewing inventory balances before and after loading.
Minimum Qualifications
- Should be physically fit.
- Will be comfortable working both in a warehouse and office environment.
- Operates with a sense of urgency.
- Understands basic warehouse principles
