Job Description
As a Technical Consultant, you will work as part of Global Services team engaging directly with our clients to deliver world class customer experience solutions using the company’s portfolio solutions.
Technical Consultants require limited support in order to carry out the following activities within the timescales and quality standards set by the project:
- Install, configure and utilise application consultancy skills to deliver solutions.
- Actively contribute to meetings and workshops with clients to gather the client’s requirements and explain how our solutions meet those requirements.
- Provide expertise on other technologies as part of the overall solution.
- Carry out testing of the solution and create supporting documentation.
- Support and mentor Graduate Technical Consultants in carrying out straightforward project tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 year’s experience of delivering customer solutions
- At least 1 year’s experience of using SQL and relational database technologies e.g. SQL Server, Oracle
- At least 1 year’s experience in Spring Framework
- At least 2 year’s experience in using web services e.g SOAP, REST
- Experience with Version Control technologies e.g. SVN
- Experience of using bug tracking software e.g. BugZilla, JIRA, HPQC
- Languages: Working knowledge of Java and the majority of the following: HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL/XSLT, Ant, CSS, JQuery, JSP
- Experience of Direct Client and/or Partner engagements
