Senior Support Engineer  

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

• To provide first class support across the whole customer base
• To maintain and support client production systems;
• To manage the daily operations of our network and infrastructure, including backups, maintenance, monitoring, and tuning.
• To develop server monitoring script.
• To perform technical root cause analysis of production problems.
• To maintain internal and external relationships, and communicate directly with customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent education and work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Application Support
• 2+ years of experience in hosting and/or production data center operations
• 2+ years of experience in working with MS SQL Server and Oracle database.
• 2+ years of experience in maintain proactive monitoring tools.
• Preferably having knowledge of enterprise Java development.
• Preferably have ability to develop server monitoring script
• Strong ability problem solving skills.
• Ability to explain technical specifications to business users in non-technical terms.
• Strong attention to detail; excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good time management skills; strong ability to self-manage; sense of teamwork.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal skills.
• Willingness to travel both locally and internationally.
