Senior Java Developer  

As a software engineer you will participate fully in our R&D activities. This includes involvement in the development and support of Verint Engagement Management product releases. You will have the opportunity working within global engineering team to develop new product features.

Our Verint Engagement Management product is an enterprise scale solution for customer service that offers a single unified desktop including knowledge management, case management, email management, telephony, live chat, co-browse, social listening, and social community

Job Purpose:

• Take part in the system configuration management and release management to production systems including performance management and software profiling
• You will participate in application design and business requirements gathering sessions where required often involving the analysis group and customer
• You are challenged to take part in a global project
• Understand business requirements behind what you are being asked to do and remain mindful of these at all times
• You will be trained in the KANA Developer Kit and will be expected to become proficient in the use of the product.
• You will be responsible for the development and testing of application code written mainly but not exclusively in the KANA Developer Kit. From time to time it may be necessary to use other programming languages such as Java, JavaScript or HTML

• Experience: Bachelor degree in computer science, experience of software development within team, experience in developing software with Java programming for at least 3 year, experience with web services (SOAP, REST), experience in integrating with other software.
• Technical & Architectural Skills: Know how to build scalable and robust solution. Strong analytical thinking and problem solving. Keep up to date with latest architectural trend (e.g. micro services).
