Job Description
- Execute preventive maintenance jobs for all customers as stipulated in the service contracts.
- Quick and timely response to onsite requests of customers for Video Jet equipment diagnostics and recommendations.
- Provide good and effective trouble shooting and repair of Video Jet equipment.
- Provide good service and technical advice to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide basic user training and basic maintenance procedures to end-users.
- Provide demonstration activities, sample printing and other demo activities of Video Jet printers to potential customers and current customers to aid in sales activities.
- Provide new equipment installation services.
- Provide equipment sales support.
- Handle any customer service inquiries forwarded by sales or as he or she receives it.
- Continuously improving technical knowledge of Video Jet.
- Can communicate feedback from local market, current customers regarding their Video Jet experience to the VCP sales team.
- Provide timely and comprehensive activity reports from service activities.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Technical knowledge on industrial coding equipments specifically on printing technology ( ex Videojet coding technologies CIJ, TIJ, TTO, Laser, LCM)
- Educated on VRS – technical, installation, operations, value proposition
- Knowledgeable on troubleshooting of coding equipment and service offerings
- Ability interact with senior managers such as maintenance managers and plant managers at the customer
- Ability to understand the customer pain points in terms of maintenance and uptime and line optimization, ability to talk to common manufacturing metrices (like OEE)
- Ability to build and deliver a quality service
- Strong communication and selling skills
- Computer literate.
