Job Description
- Fully involved in the project life cycle (gathering user requirement, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, maintaining, documentation, training, and implementing)
- Execute technology strategy and architecture recommendations for company projects and products.
- Define key metrics and outcomes for technology that align with business goals.
- Run continual IT improvement programs and demonstrate improved service and increased IT engagement locally.
- Manage the IT Budget by setting the asset road map, identify budget holders, and analyzing budgets
- Manage all IT resources
- Be an advocate and thought leader for technology and innovation for the company
Minimum Qualifications
- Have deep understanding of web backend frameworks (eg. laravel, django, etc)
- Strong understanding of front end web frameworks (eg. Vuejs, react, etc)
- Good understanding of modern app frameworks (eg. Flutter, react native, etc)
- Strong DevOps knowledge for monolithic applications & micro-service applications
- Strong in English
- Have experience in SCRUM / Agile coding environments
- Some experience in manually setting up load balancers, database replications, and performance monitoring
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Previous managerial experience a plus
- Previous experience in financial services industry (i.e. securities, etc) a plus though not a must
