Job Description
PARAPLANNERS WORK TO...
- Provide quotes for either Risk and/or Financial Planning SoA.
- Complete fact find documents.
- Generate new business income from risk insurance and superannuation advice this financial year.
- Update client paper and electronic files, ensuring that they are compliant
- Ensure that the advice provided is within the compliance parameters set out by ASFL.
- Process client filing.
- Complete, checking, submitting and processing the necessary application forms
- Liaise with fund managers, administrators and life companies regarding client’s affairs.
- Assist with research into client recommendations.
- Maintain client databases.
- Monitor stationary, ensuring always sufficient supply and not out of date.
- Ensurw work practices meet FSRA guidelines.
- Perform all paraplanning function.
Minimum Qualifications
EXPERIENCED PARAPLANNER MUST HAVE:
- At least 1-year experience being a Paraplanner
- Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal)
- Experience with Australian SMSFs (Self-managed Super Funds)
- Experience in reading and understanding balance sheets, financials, etc.
- Familiarity with the completion of quarterly SMSF
