Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and creative Head of Marketing to join our start-up team. You will report directly to the CEO and lead our growing in-house marketing team. Your duties will include managing all marketing operations, assessing and improving existing initiatives, and devising new strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to tailor marketing strategies to complement the company's objectives. You will have excellent leadership and communication skills to successfully provide guidance to teh growing team, and you will have a vast knowledge of current marketing trends.

UTAK POS is already one of the fastest-growing tech and e-commerce solutions in the Philippines, with over 2500+ partners nationwide, and we're looking for someone to help us grow even further and take it to the next level - in the pursuit of using affordable technology to help support local MSME businesses.

  • Planning, implementing, and overseeing all marketing and advertising campaigns
  • Growing and developing the in-house marketing team
  • Building brand awareness and generating innovative ideas to promote the brand/product
  • Budget management
  • Creating content strategies based on the business objectives, category focus and audience segments through all channels (online/offline/social)
  • Designing and coordinating promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
  • Determine KPIs for the marketing department
  • Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions
  • Building a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals.
  • Conducting market research and staying abreast of competitor positioning.
  • Contributing to new business development initiatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing techniques and platforms
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Social Media tools, Trello, HubSpot, SalesForce, etc.
