Job Description
- The Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting regular audits on compliance to the company’s existing processes and policies, ensuring compliance or standards and regulatory requirements, reporting of audit findings, recommending improvements and assisting in process or policy documentation.
- Monitoring compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation
- Preparing for audits by conducting appropriate research and conducting audits
- Analyzing and assessing information obtained through interviews, observation, and inspections
- Conducting root cause analysis for problem-solving and timely communicate potential issues to leads and managers
- Completing audit work papers and memoranda by documenting an audit test and findings
- Monitoring the implementation of corrective action plans in line with the audit findings
- Assisting in the assessment and ranking business process risk, using the risk, using the risk-based audit approach
- Assisting the department POCs in the documentation of processes and control points
- Do ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience as an Auditor
- Highly proficient in Excel and MS Office Tools
- Knowledge in CIC regulations, SEC, Act 3765 “The Truth and Lending Act of the Philippines” BSP regulations is a plus
- Knowledge of Internal Auditing procedures
- Knowledge of Risk Assessment and BIA procedures
- Knowledge of Incident Management, Managing and Assessing Physical security controls
- Analytic, detail oriented, could work with minimal supervision
