Job Description
- Works cooperatively with all team members to support the achievement of work plan activities designed to achieve identified goals and objectives
- Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in establishment
- Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records, manually or using computer.
- Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory
- Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
- Prepares list of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items
- Issues office supplies to employees and monitors disbursement
- Coordinates with suppliers to replenish depleted stocks
- Searches for possible suppliers, requests price quotations, and prepares a summary of gathered quotes
- Performs clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings
- Coordinates and completes significant special projects independently or in cooperation with other groups as directed by the Manager
- Operates office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, printers and scanners to complete department tasks
- Helps in the production of documents, forms and other marketing materials
- Completes confidential administrative services for the Manager and safeguards all confidential files
- Other administrative tasks that can be assigned by the Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Open to fresh graduates of a 4 year course, or those with one year work experience in a similar role
- Highly-organized, meticulous, and obsessed with details
- Can think independently and have exceptional problem solving skills
- Able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Trustworthy and can be depended on not to divulge sensitive information
- Fast learner and requires minimum supervision
- Able to work well alone or as part of team
- Knows how to handle stress and has good time management skills
- Having a great sense of humor is a definite plus
