Job Description
Overall Purpose of the Job:
- The Mechanical Engineer will be assigned for the project management of the Unioil Corporate Building. He/she will supervise, manage, plan and design the construction of the Unioil Corporate Building in relation to the necesarry mechanical works needed in the project.
Job Description:
- Liaise with other engineers, suppliers, contractors/subcontractors and owners regarding improvement of project
- Ensure that timelines are strictly followed and project is running smoothly
- Guarantee accurate technical and feasibility study
- Site investigation and supervision
- Identify potential risk of the project
- Oversee inspection and preventive maintenance procedures
- Ensure safety regulations and security policies are followed in the site
- Ensure that materials and equipments are delivered on time
- Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations
- Responsible in reviewing and approval of project improvements
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering (Mechanical)
- At least SEVEN (7) year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably Supervisor / SEVEN (7) Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Engineering - Mechanical/Construction/Structural or equivalent
- Two (2) Full-Time position(s) available
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must have a pleasing personality, strong leadership and management skills.
- Extensive experience in construction industry and structural works, specifically with Vertical Projects (building construction)
- Computer savvy, can properly consolidate reports, and willing to present accurate progress of the project to management in a weekly basis
- With good oral and written communication skills
- Willing to work during Saturdays, and if needed even during holidays
- Can accommodate calls from management, owners, and contractors 24/7
- With knowledge in preventive maintenance and risk management
- Knowledgeable in processing necessary permits for the construction of building/s
- Knowledgeable with the basic structural components of a building
- Logical and analytical skills are needed in resolving possible problems concerning the project
