JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for reconciliation of inventory balances, inventory costing report, costing of goods manufactured and sold, opening of Letter of Credit (LC), monitoring importations of materials, supplies and equipment and submission of required documents to banks for Trust Receipts, and preparation of of export documents, coordinates with broker and Philippine Bonded Warehouse.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare monthly summary of stock transfer, materials issuance and receiving reports.
2. Prepare monthly reconciliation of inventory balances per physical count in Pasig office/branches and subcontractor against accounting balances.
3. Prepare monthly reconciliation of Cebu, General Santos, Zamboanga balance per physical count of sales personnel against accounting balances.
4. Prepare monthly analysis of material variances for manufacturing of chemicals.
5. Responsible for export and import documentations.
6. Prepare summary of importations and update upon every new order and receipt of importation.
7. Coordinate with bank personnel regarding LC opening, bank guarantee and Trust Receipts.
8. Responsible for maintenance of subsidiary ledger of general ledger account handled such as goods in transit, raw materials, packaging, factory supplies and merchandise inventory.
9. Manual recording of schedule of inventories.
10. Perform the duties and responsibilities of Accounting Supervisor/General Accountant in her absense.
11. Conduct inventory count at subcontractor's plant.
12. Prepare payment by telegraphic transfer.
13. Manual recording of Purchase Book.
14. Encoding of Accounts Payable Vouchers.
15. Responsible for the monthly analysis of Selling Expenses and Repairs and Maintenance (manufacturing) Account.
16. Prepare the monthly and quarterly VAT returns (Importation).
17. Prepare landed cost sheet fof importation.
18. Prepare export cost sheet for export sales.
19. Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- At least three (3) years experience in general and cost accounting. Experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
- Proficient in computer software such as MS Word and Spreadsheet. Possesses a high degree of integrity and proactively.
