Job Description
Directly reporting to PPIC Supervisor/PPIC Manager. Responsible for maintaining effective monitoring and recording system of important activities related to importation/exportation, inventory movement and sample materials for testing and evaluation. Also responsible to the General Manager for additional projects.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination with brokers/forwarders on customs cargo releasing activities.
- Document checking and confirmation of all IMPEX-related activities.
- Filing and monitoring of all submitted shipping documents for liquidation process.
- Preparation of liquidation documents.
- Maintaining effective monitoring of material samples acquired from suppliers up to submission of test result.
- Ensuring effective sourcing-out of critical and imported raw materials and traded products especially for Research and Development related materials.
- Assisting AFD and Logistics in monthly inventory count at subcontractors.
- Proper coordination with Logistics on stock transfer from/to Subcontractors.
- Monitoring of shipment and coordinating delivery schedule to Logistics/sub-contractor.
- Ensuring proper coordination with sub-contractors.
- Perform other activities that may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or in Customs Administration.
- At least two (2) years experience in importation and exportation. With knowledge in Customs Rules and Regulations is an advantage. With experience in Inventory Management and/or Purchasing.
- Possesses congenial personality and good leadership skills.
- Keen to details with strong analytical and planning skills.
- Possesses a high degree of integrity.
- Ability to wear multiple hats or multi-task.
- Excellent in oral and written communication.
