Job Description
- Responsible in supervising, leading, organizing and controlling the operations in the warehouse.
- Oversee the day to day activities at the warehouse to maintain and safe keep inventories and to safeguard company assets.
- Implement control & safety measures according to good warehousing standard.
- Supervise the overall receiving, storage, withdrawal, and dispatching activities distribution, activities by enforcing policies and procedures.
- Ensure that stock movement is properly documented and accurately reflected in the inventory.
- Ensure proper scheduling of withdrawal and issuance of requested items/goods.
- Ensure completeness and timely delivery of orders according to the MRR.
- Ensure cleanliness, orderliness and implement safety and security measure at the warehouse.
- Delegate and assign duties and targets and evaluate the performance of the staff.
- Coordinate and participate in taking physical inventories.
- Ensure health and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with all the legal and storekeeping procedures and standards
- Evaluate manning and workloads, determine reasonable staffing requirement and recommend appropriate staffing levels
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Meet warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; implementing corrective actions.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years solid experience in warehouse management
- Background in Telco is an advantage but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills, people managerment;
