Job Description
- Assist manager in the preparation, analysis, reconciliation, maintenance and summarization of the general ledger and book of accounts on a periodic basis.
- Ensure appropriate recording of business revenue.
- Record details on liquidations and reimbursement and maintain journal entries accurately.
- Reconcile all expenses and disbursements and regularly update cash account balances.
- Perform accounts analysis and prepare Financial Statements.
- Assist with annual budget preparation as required.
- Prepares Income Statement, Balance Sheet.
- Record asset acquisitions appropriately and maintain records on fixed asset and monthly depreciation report.
- Maintain records of prepaid expenses and monthly amortization.
- Gather reports from AR and AP on VAT and validates entries for the filing of appropriate tax.
- Provide expense report per cost centers on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate with external parties/auditors in providing relevant information required.
- Track down collection report and ensure it is appropriately recorded on cash account balances.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Accountancy; CPA board passer is an advantage.
- At least one (1) year experience in general accounting.
- Possess a solid background and understanding of accounting principles and practices, tax laws, and BIR requirements.
- High level of integrity and discipline.
- Good analytical, documentation and organization, with keen attention to details and accuracy.
- Knowledge in accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP is a must.
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
