Executive Chef (French/Western)

After a successful opening of the first shop in Plaza Senayan, TWG Tea Boutique and Salon was open the second shop at Pacific Place. We are looking for highly motivated, young, dynamic & experienced professionals with positive attitudes & personality to be our Executive Chef.

As a Executive Chef, you will :

• Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise/coordinate all related culinary activities
• Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
• Select and develop recipes
• Standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
• Establish presentation technique and quality standards
• Plan and price menus
• Ensure proper equipment operation/maintenance; and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
• The executive chef may cook selected items or for select occasions
• The executive chef may oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques
• The executive chef directly supervises kitchen personnel with responsibility for hiring, discipline and performance reviews

• Background education minimum Diploma Hospitality Industry or higher
• Preferable to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field
• Minimum age of 22 years old and maximum 40 years old
• Pleasant and well-groomed
• Good communication in English (verbal and written)
• Good Interpersonal skill and teamwork
• The position is a hands-on, customer focused role and such we require someone with drive, efficiency and assertiveness
