Job Description
- Attend to inquiries (either by phone or walk-in) regarding banquets – menus, rates, package amenities, terms of payment, etc.
- Conducts showroom for interested clients, site inspections, handle lay-out requirements.
- Prepare proposals for possible banquet materialization in consultation with the by F&B Service Manager.
- Follow up on inquiries and tentative reservations.
- Conduct sales blitz and implement marketing strategies.
- Conduct client calls following required quota set by Management; conduct personal visit to individual/commercial accounts for purposes of solicitation; search for new or potential markets through research and referrals.
- Attend to client’s banquet complaints and take appropriate action.
- Prepare Banquet Event Contracts (BEC) for confirmed banquet functions.
- Attend to the preparation and signing of banquet contracts.
- Ensure that he/she is available for all client’s needs and requests; maintain contact and harmonious relations with clients.
- Act as the middle person and main contact between the client and all the departments of the hotel.
- Does all necessary introductions needed between the banquet service associates and the organizer of the event.
- Does all necessary follow-ups with all departments regarding the job that needs to be done for the function in coordination with the F&B Coordinator.
- Checks with Banquet Service the availability of amenities and facilities required by clients; checks preparations and service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure that clients fill-up an exit evaluation form to get feedback to ensure hotel services are improved as well as particular departments mentioned are thanked.
- Schedule a post event briefing with the client (if client is available, if they are not it is done with hotel associates). The meeting will cover the comments (good and bad) given by the organizer of the event as well as comments of other guests.
- Maintain reports related to daily tasks, solicitations, confirmations and cancellations, progresses of sales calls and transportation report.
- Maintain and update account file and history of client.
- Report to F&B Service Manager any deficiencies or complaints on facilities and services; report about the progress of work assigned to her.
- Submit the following reports:
- Daily Itinerary;
- Weekly Sales Report;
- Month-End Report;
- Lost Booking Report;
- Banquet Sales Reimbursement;
- Perform other duties as may be required by Management;

- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
