Job Description
Job Overview
The Property Manager is responsible for the whole-building tasks in a leased building occupied by tenants. He/She manages daily operations, maintenance, security, and administration in the assigned property. The goal is to maximize asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Acts as a liaison between the owner and tenants
- Inspects and arranges maintenance to meet standards
- Maintains proper records of all transactions and reports to the owner or the building corporation, in clear and uniform procedures on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Ensures that all maintenance programs for the equipment and facilities of the property are executed as per schedule to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensures that the safety and security aspect of the property is always maintained by designing and implementing a security, safety, and emergency management plans
- Manages a team of electricians, technicians, security, utilities, and receptionists
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or any four-year business course
- With at least 10 years of experience in property administration/management
- Interpersonal savvy with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Results oriented, honest, a team worker with high leadership qualities and can interact with top executives, tenants, and unit owners.
- Must have a good understanding and capacity to resolve customer related complaints and has leadership personality to manage cross functional teams
- Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer is preferred
