Job Description
- Ensures that GRID end-to-end operations work as defined by functional teams and services
- Timely and accurate release and monitoring of reports and overall health check of operations
- Ability to see the big picture and hone in on specific updates that improve system performance
- Understands manual processes and translates to automated systems
- Ports and completes system migration from legacy to current technologies
- Process standardization and innovations
- Work closely with service engineering teams to ensure platform is built with scalability, security & ease of maintenance
- Accomplishes testing and deployment of computer software used in day-to-day operations
- Fulfills customer or user requests within the given timeline
- Ensures that GRID services are delivered effectively and efficiently
- Meets business objectives and team targets defined by Service Level Objectives
- Manages service incidents or problems and enhances end-to-end processes
- S/he will also be assigned to do project management or employee-driven initiatives that will address concerns on increasing productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-6+ Years relevant work experience in Software Development
- Experience in reading, writing, and debugging on the following languages: Java, C#, Python
- Experience in shell scripting, both Unix, and Windows Shell
- Experience in Relational Database Design, Use, and Maintenance: MSSQL, MySQL
- Experience in non-relational databases a big plus
- Working knowledge of Virtualization (Local VMs, or Amazon Web Services)
- Working knowledge of Message Queues (MSMQ, RabbitMQ, or SQS)
- Ability to understand, configure, develop, and debug in a cross-platform environment that includes Windows, MacOS, and Linux
- Strong background in continuous integration and build environments, with experience in Version Control, Build Automation, and Continuous Integration
- Knowledge of Agile Development and Tools, such as Scrum, Jira
- Familiarity with Cloud based operations, and or AWS
- Familiarity with JSON, Soap, Rests, XML, and other Web Service Technologies
- Familiarity with Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning
