Job Description
The position is primarily responsible for evaluating and recommending new business ventures and investments to Management and ensuring that Management is provided with useful information on a timely basis.
- Undertakes feasibility studies on new business ventures and investments, and recommends projects worth undertaking to Management
- Organizes and facilitates the Groupwide Economic Briefing Forum
- Provides relevant economic and business information and trends that would aid member companies in strategic planning
- Provides consultative services to member companies in relation to their strategic plans and strategic initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Master's Degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, or equivalent.
- Must have at least five (5) years of related work experience in corporate planning, business development or corporate finance
- Must have a strong background in business development (feasibility studies and investment analyses), strategic planning, corporate finance, business process analysis, industry/economic research
- Must have a background in financial planning and analysis; be able to create financial models
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, presentation skills
