- QA Process Knowledge
- Understand and comply with the defined and agreed Software Development Life Cycle and CMMI standards of the organization.
- Understands various approaches used in testing such as static (desk checking) and dynamic testing (white box, black box, load, coverage, and regression).
- Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing Test Cases.
- Creates test plan and test effort estimation.
- Reviews Test Cases and Test Scripts written by QA Analyst Make recommendations as necessary.
- Able to apply appropriate test design techniques in writing Test Cases.
- Writes Test Cases and Test Scripts, Creates Test Data and Requirement Traceability Matrix.
- Properly executes the given test cases / test scripts, identifies the correct behavior of the system under test, replicates and reports uncovered defects.
- Tests and certifies software defect fixes and new functionality. Executes functional, application, regression and performance tests for software releases.
- Writes clear and precise defect reports as required for identified software defects and functional defects based on testing results.
- Writes and submits Test Summary Report.
- Facilitates the Peer Review of the RTM, Test Cases and Test Summary Report.
- Reviews and analyzes test results and makes recommendations.
- Enforces quality procedures and guidelines across the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of the QA procedures and guidelines.
- Knowleadgable in HP UFT and other automated testing tool
- Business Analysis
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, abstract up low-level information to a general understanding, and classify user requests between must have and not.
- Deliver the following documents as needed Functional Requirements and Use Cases by proactively communicating and collaborating with customers to analyze information needs and business requirements.
- Customer Service
- Satisfy customer by providing clear specifications and quality product according to specified requirements.
- Exhibits confidence in the understanding the business concerns and provides sound business suggestions and recommendations accordingly.
- Administrative
- Records activities in PTT and reports/elevates issues to superior when needed;
- Conducts needed audit to ensure compliance to the procedures in CMMI;
- Prepares and submits of needed reports;
- Teamwork
- Closely coordinates with other team members of the applications development
- team.
- Facilitates effective team interaction adhering to the values of the company and meeting the objectives.
- Ability to flexibly adjust to help other team members to ensure continuity of providing service.
- Learning and Development
- Expand knowledge on business process and IT related information;
- Stay abreast of current technology, system information, problems, changes andupdates relevant to the team;

Transitions Optical was founded in 1990.[2] In 1991, Transitions Optical became the first company to commercialize and manufacture plastic photochromic lenses.[3] From inception the company has been a joint venture between PPG Industries (51%) and Essilor (49%).[4][1] In April 2014, Essilor acquired the 51% stake of PPG in Transitions.[5]
Transitions lenses are also called adaptive lenses. They are clear indoors and at night and automatically darken outdoors as light conditions change. They block 100% of UV rays and help to enhance contrast and reduce glare.[6] In addition to original Transitions lenses that are for everyday wear,[7][8] Transitions Optical also makes Transitions XTRActive[9] lenses that change from light tint indoors to very dark outdoors,[10] and Transitions adaptive sun wear[11] that go from dark to darker outdoors depending on the sun and are available worldwide.[12][13]
Throughout the 1990s, Transitions Optical established offices in Europe, Asia/Pacific, South America, Australia and Canada. Transitions Optical has more than 1,200 employees worldwide and offices throughout 15 countries.
