Job Description
The Medical Affairs Support is responsible for the scientific and medical review of promotional materials and regulatory documents of the product cluster under his/her care.
- Provides support to the Medical Affairs team in ensuring that promotional materials and local product documents and its related materials are aligned with the accepted medical standards, company policies and procedures, and local and international regulations.
- Conducts thorough review of all promotional materials of products / product clusters, in coordination with, and under the supervision of the Medical Manager supporting the therapeutic area.
- Works with the Medical Managers in the development of scientific modules for different medical programs and/or training purposes.
- Conducts thorough review of certain regulatory documents, like local product documents and labels of product clusters under his/her care.
- Conducts searches for scientific / medical information to support promotional materials, modules, and other programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of medical or allied medical profession with the following training, subjects and disciplines:
- Medical and clinical practice (for medical professionals)
- Pharmacology and clinical pharmacology
- Clinical chemistry and biochemistry
- Physiology and basic pathology
- Biostatistics in research methods
- Drug evaluation
- Design and appraisal of clinical studies
- Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics
- Preferably with experience in both regulatory and medical affairs as well as pharmaceutical research monitoring and practice preferably in the industry.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
