Job Description
- Handles the design and documentation necessary for bid documents for a particular construction project undertaking.
- Prepares necessary details including building specifications, code requirements, and interior design elements.
- Ensures safety, quality, and functionality of every building design.
- Provides necessary designs and layout for the Projects Management Group that will be available for quantity surveying (bill of quantities and materials).
- Furnishes computer aided draft layouts and drawings necessary to validate space requirement for proposed processes.
- Provides construction drawings, including detailed drawings, and technical specifications to ensure conformity of design to actual site conditions.
- Updates as-built plans of the company necessary for securing business and other local permit requirements.
- Coordinates with quantity surveyor & project engineer all business, ensuring safe, timely, and quality building based on approved designs, budget, and specifications.
- Furnishes regular progress reports of project undertakings and safekeeping of all documents related to on-going projects.
- Ensures appropriate transfer to Maintenance Services.
Minimum Qualifications
- Equipped with project management skills.
- Able to render 3D drawings for better visualization of proposed layouts.
- Well-versed in making technical reports both for documentation and presentation.
- Well-versed on CAD programs for feasible building designs.
- Knowledgeable of applicable standards related to design and construction of structures.
- Well-equipped in making technical specifications related to architectural finishes.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Willing to extend work hours and travel regularly.
- Must be willing to work in Sta Rosa, Laguna.
