Purchasing Buyer  

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Purchasing Buyer to join our Purchasing Department based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.

The Purchasing Buyer is a member of the Indirect Materials Section that ensures materials needed are bought into the company, in the right volume and at the right time, to meet the company's requirements and conducts research to identify reliable suppliers and coordinate requests for bids and awarding supply contracts.

In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in coordinating with suppliers, managing contracts and ensuring quality purchased items.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Conduct sourcing and price review of indirect materials requirements from manufacturing based on competitive price and on time delivery
• Identify and coordinate with reliable suppliers
• Conduct cost management and financial risk management
• Facilitate bidding and price negotiations.
• Strengthen cost reduction activities and process improvement activities
• Coordination with Purchasing Regional Office

Our perfect match:

• You have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, or Business Administration.
• Relevant experience in buying/cost negotiation with suppliers, risk management activities and supply chain management are an advantage
• You interact with others in a way that gives them confidence in one's intentions and those of the organization.
