Purchasing Engineer  

Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Purchasing Engineers to join our Purchasing Division based in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, Philippines.

The Purchasing Engineer is a member of the Purchasing EngineeringTeam that is responsible for managing, sourcing and acquiring quality parts, raw materials and machinery at a reasonable price. They are also responsible for strengthening parts production to meet production quality standards, supplier management and audit.

In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in automotive parts and processes, technical analysis and data management. You are also expected to possess proficient skills in AutoCAD and analysis of CAD data, and familiarization with SAP.

Your role and responsibilities:

• Local Parts Development.
• Supplier Coordination and Audit.
• Supplier quality and delivery monitoring and audit.
• Implementation of improvement activities.
• Preparation of Annual activity plans.

Our perfect match:

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Must possess administration, planning, analytical skills and management skills;
• Highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
• Willing to work on extended hours and go on official business trips;
• You maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjust to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, or cultures.
• You are capable of clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
