Job Description

  • Responsible for collecting, filing and auditing all necessary documents for new hires and terminated employees
  • Responsible for managing the employee 201 file.
  • Completes the new hire and termination information in the human resources information system
  • Handles benefits administration for the company which includes but not limited to government-mandated, healthcare and life insurance benefits
  • Ensures timely submission of government required reports and payments such as Philhealth, SSS, HDMF, BIR
  • Performs monitoring and administration of personnel referral programs
  • Process payroll including base pay, overtime, salary increases, and applicable bonuses
  • Work with vendors to ensure accuracy of tax tables and tax filing for both withholding and unemployment
  • Calculate and approve for payment payroll tax liabilities incurred through processed payroll.
  • Maintain and assess controls to ensure confidentiality of payroll records.
  • Acquire and apply the necessary knowledge of existing payroll service to process payroll and related reports accurately and timely.
  • Assist Employees in processing travel related requirements.
  • Generate Travel related documents for traveling employees
  • May perform administration of other HR programs as requested or other duties/responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • College Graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Accounting or equivalent business experience
  • Five years experience in the areas of payroll processing using automated payroll systems, compensation and benefits administration, employee data management
  • Strong Root-Cause Analysis and Problem Solving Skills
  • Exhibits creative thinking (innovative) and
  • Can perform under stress when confronted with an emergency, critical, or unusual situation
  • Excellent customer service, strong oral and written communication skills, follow through and organizational skills
  • Has the ability to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong background and working knowledge of Microsoft products
