Job Description
- Perform posting/uploading of journal entry requests upon checking and verification of request forms/ supporting documents upon receiving request from the Affiliate. This will include reset/reverse postings of journal entries if there is mistake.
- Post journal entries in SAP
- Perform creation / update / batch posting of recurring documents in system, upon checking and verification of request forms / supporting documents upon receiving request from the Affiliate. This includes reset / reverse / updating / deleting recurring journal entries if there is mistake.
- Perform generation of financial statements from SAP and populate reporting package for regional team. This will include amendment or review of draft reporting package, and sending of report to the Affiliate Finance for further review
- Liaise with HQ for new account to global list and extend identified account from global list
- Perform checking and verification of request forms and supporting documents upon receiving request from the Affiliate. Create fixed asset master data in SAP
- Perform depreciation calculation and posting on a monthly basis. This includes reviewing of the depreciation run and resolving errors, if any.
- Perform checking and verification of request forms and supporting documents upon receiving request from the Affiliate, locate the asset in the asset management master data, and dispose assets. This includes checking the request form against the information of the asset master in the system and checking for over and underpayment of sales proceeds, if any.
- Perform checking and verification of request forms and supporting documents upon receiving request from the Affiliate, update transfer of fixed asset in the system.
- Perform system or manual forex revaluation and perform adjustments if any
- Perform vendor master data maintenance, which includes verification of data upon receiving request from the Affiliate, checking for existing data to avoid duplication of master records in the system, creating and updating master record.
- Prepare list of vendors with last 12 months payment history and deactivate identified inactive vendors
- Ensures controls are maintained within the Accounting operating environment in compliance with SLA
Minimum Qualifications
- With a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, Business Administration or in a related field.
- Certified Public Accountants is a plus
- Has at least 2 years of work experience in a Finance and Accounting role , prior experience in a Shared Service environment or experience in Oil, Gas and Energy industries is an advantage
- Ability to multi task, results oriented, able to work under pressure, have superior analytical skills, and an excellent problem solver.
- With strong analytical and communication (written and spoken) skills and is eager to work in a team oriented multi cultural environment
- Customer Service Oriented
- With technical proficiency and extensive exposure in SAP FI-AP as end user and knowledgeable of MS Office – Excel, Word, PPT.
- Additional Proficiency in other languages such as Mandarin, Vietnamese, Thai, Bahasa, Japanese and in French
- will be an advantage.
- Proficient in analyzing financial issues and making logical recommendations based on findings.
