Job Description
- Involvement in monthly financial closing process, including ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and financial report preparations
- Responsible for the accuracy of general ledger and financial statements
- Ensure all the monthly accounts and supporting schedules are prepared in a timely and accurate manners
- Involvement in preparation of statutory financial statements
- Analyse financial impacts of new business cycle/products and ensure the appropriate recordings in financial statements
- Analyse the effect of accounting practices and studies regulations/guidance to ensure the appropriate application of Indonesian GAAP and IFRS
- Assist with Financial Audit, to ensure satisfactory audit result and compliance
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Assist in development and documentation of accounting policies, financial processes and procedures
- Make recommendations for improvements as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Robust knowledge of Indonesian GAAP
- Minimum 4 years of experience in financial closing cycle, financial reporting, consolidation and analyzing and enhancing financial systems and controls
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated to meet and exceed expectations
- Highly organized with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in Big 4 Accounting Firm is a plus
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
