Job Description
The person performing this role is expected to use a combination of qualitative and quantitate analysis and provide insights/recommendation to enable the management to execute on the strategy with a view on growth. The person is also expected to work with business heads and other enabling teams to implement / execute the strategy towards desired outcomes.
Job Description
- Spearhead marketing strategies for the company, while working with cross-functional teams to ensure that all touchpoints are aligned with the brand.
- Execute daily strategies to acquire links towards clients’ websites to boost their rankings on Google
- Experiment on different strategies and look for new websites for link opportunities.
- Define annual marketing plans for our projects.
- Support Product Owner (and Community Managers) in campaigns for user acquisition, releases, and more.
- Set up pay-per-click advertising campaigns on search, social and display for awareness, user acquisition, and customer retention.
- Drive our social media pages and keep company social pages updated.
- Coordinate with partners and outsources for marketing opportunities for awareness, market expansion, and user acquisition strategies.
- Implement segmentation strategies across platforms and content formats to ensure that we are reaching the target market and providing a seamless user experience.
- Evaluate and report the status and performance of marketing plans, working constantly to improve results.
- Manage budget and ensure that actual spend across all campaigns will not exceed the total budget.
- Analyze customer data and feedback to support and optimize marketing strategies.
- Develop A/B testing plans to drive innovation, generate learnings, and improve the performance of our targeting, creatives, messaging and landing pages.
- Stay up to date on marketing trends and apply them in the development and execution of digital programs to maximize results.
A. Strategy formation and assessment
- Assess the feasibility of new media concepts or creative initiatives (e.g production costs, internal expertise, and capacity, potential partners, monetization opportunities)
- Identify media/entertainment trends that the company can monetize wit new business concepts (work with internal business units on expanding their business strategy and identifying new revenue streams that can grow the business)
- Responsible for developing high-level business case/ feasibility assessments for concerns.
B. Research and Analysis
- Market scan, consumer and trends analysis (e.g media industry, e-commerce, music, and fashion)
- Competitor analysis (e.g local and international) in specific and adjacent industries/markets.
- Quantitative analysis (e.g margins, production costs, sources of monetization)
- P&L Analysis
C. Strategy execution:
- Identify an approach to translate strategic analysis into outcomes.
- Partner with teams to lead and initiate execution of green-lit initiatives
D. Collaboration and team management
- Work with marketing, creatives, sales and project managers in defining key outcomes, team tasks and expected outcomes of different business units.
- Ability to synthesize, present & amp; articulate outcomes from analysis & research to business heads and/or working teams.
E. Revenue / growth:
- Own top-line targets and/or other relevant metrics (e.g growth, reach) for initiatives
- Executes the creation and innovation of ads inventory monetization strategy
Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years experience
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
