Senior Electrical Design Engineer  

• Responsible for the electrical design and system planningfor distribution utility in Pampanga;
• Develop engineering design using electrical system analysis and generate design drawings using CAD software based on required specifications;
• Prepare cost estimate and RFQs for electrical projects;
• Inspect projects and imposes the need for corrective actions in case of errors, damage or failure to conform to specified standards;
• Operate and maintain transmission system for distribution of power to ensure smooth flow from source to end clients;
• Conduct short-circuit simulations and routine inspection of high and medium voltage transmission lines;
• Ensure proper implementation of substation and transmission line monitoring and maintenance;
• Record, monitor and evaluate system operating parameters and end-user metering;
• Track maintenance activities for all substation equipment, transmission and distribution lines;
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance and repair of equipment for all metering and monitoring facilities based on standard operating procedures and applicable standards;
• Direct and coordinate with personnel concerned / affected during equipment operation, maintenance and repair of equipment and systems in field installations;

• Must be a graduate of Electrical Engineering; Professional license is required;
• With at least 4 years work experience in power distribution industry, with medium or high voltage transmission lines and electrical systems design experience;
• Must be familiar with Philippines Gris and Distribution Code, Substation Design, Interconnection standards and power flow, and fault analysis simulation studies (EasyPower/ETAP or equivalent)
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical engineering related software programs;
• Has excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical and planning skills
• Able to self-manage, with a strong sense of responsibility and maturity.
• Willing to be based in Pampanga.
