Job Description
About you
As Training Specialist, you will help shape the organization’s learning culture. You are in the business of talent development and is excellent in equipping and empowering individuals and teams by consulting with teams on their learning needs, designing and facilitating learning experiences, organizing evaluation and reporting on results, and managing projects. Your passion for learning will help form a cornerstone of our organization’s drive towards success.
What you will do
- Create and develop the organization’s learning culture by using innovative and creative ways to encourage personal and professional growth (celebrating certifications, creating a forum for sharing super helpful learning resources, etc.)
- Be a consultant to enablement and operations teams when it comes to their learning needs
- Handle end-to-end learning program development - analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation
- Collaborate with the right content experts to help craft and review learning material and resources
- Create learning materials for learning programs, where applicable, such as facilitators’ guides, lesson plans, slides, learners’ handbook, job aids, etc.
- Create and adhere to standard L&D processes for maximum efficiency and scalability
- Document all learning program material using standard templates shared across Thumbtack offices
- Keep updated records and materials for all learning programs in centralized tracker and repository
- Assist in managing our Learning Management System (Lessonly)
Minimum Qualifications
What you need to have
- At least three (3) years of instructional design and facilitation experience in a corporate or institutional environment
- Experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating instructor-led and self-paced training programs in a variety of modalities
- Advantage if they have experience in the BPO and tech industries
- Experience in working with a Learning Management System (uploading content, pulling reports, creating quizzes, etc.)
- Knowledgeable on different adult learning principles, theories, frameworks, tools
