Job Description
The incumbent shall be trained and exposed to the organization's different departments to gain experience and knowledge required to be in leadership positions. They shall be working with managers, supervisors and rank and file employees and are expected to learn to perform several duties in the areas they are exposed to while acquiring supervisory and managerial skills.
Duties and Responsibilites:
1. Learns staff functions, management view points and directions, company policies and procedures, controls, standards, practices and operations related to human resources, sales, supply chain, accounting, billing and collection, audit and corporate finance which are significant in the proper functioning of the organization.
2. Learns current and proposed legislations, identifies trends and recommends proactive actions to manage business situations to avoid legal challenges.
3. Works with managers to plan and direct the work of the department by helping review curent company processes and evaluation of their accuracy and loopholes, and creating new/updated processes and strictly implementing them to improve work efficiency, detect and prevent fraudulent transactions.
4. Sets objectives and performance goals with department managers and establishes measuring tools to ensure those objectives and goals are met.
5. Engages in gathering relevant data and makes analyses that aid in forecasting, budgeting and cost reduction.
6. Reviews and studies financial and operational performance and makes recommendations for business strategies in terms of investments, allocation of resources, and the like.
7. Gathers relevant data to analyze sales, gross profit margin and inventory and works with and through management to develop and recommend actions that protect company assets and profitability.
8. Participates in the procedure development process to determine whether systems and applications include controls for adequate protection against significant loss or error.
9. Protects organization value by keeping information confidential.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of Bachelor's/College degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management/Accountancy/Finance/Audit or equivalent.
- Must be computer literate, proficient in a document, spreadsheet and presentation applications.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must possess strong leadership and team-handling skills.
- Must be able to work well with different types of people.
- Must have high analytical, strategic and decision-making skills.
- Must have a strong business sense.
- Must be a good person of initiative and high moral integrity.
