Job Description
Responsible for the installation of aluminum cladding for hot pipelines, steam lines, vessels, headers, dome, all types of ducting, long meter pipes, and mechanical equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for joining, fitting and framing sheet metal to each other and substrates using rivet, weld, soldering or other equipment
- Prepares and fabricates insulation and cladding materials as well as components for installation based on blueprints and design
- Responsible for insulating heat, water, steam or other piping as well as hot and cold air duct.
- Undertake other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least high school graduate but with NCII Certification
- Experience in pipes and tanks cladding, duct and ventilation works
- Able to perform cladding works and associated physical/manual laboring tasks in a safe manner
- Able to read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Good team player and should posses a good understanding of the job given.
