Job Description
Responsible for the lay out, fitting and fabrication of metal components to assemble structural forms using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible to tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using different methods as specified by procedures, layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, or oral instructions.
- Performs all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding.
- Ensures safe and effective operation and maintenance of assigned tools, plant and equipment associated with the job using required Personal Protective Equipment.
- Performs or assists in other assigned duties as qualified.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least high school graduate, preferably with NCII, SMAW, and/or GMAW certification
- Have experience in copper, black iron, galvanized iron and other metal works
- Able to perform welding works and associated with physical/manual labor tasks in a safe manner
- Able to operate, maintain and work safely with hand tools, small plant, and equipment
- Must be willing to work outside Metro Manila
