Job Description
Responsible for on-time delivery of items/equipment from warehouse to customers, or customers back to the warehouse. Reliable, safety -oriented driver with 1-2 years experience in light and heavy vehicle driving. Committed to ensuring the safety of items/equipment. Able to respond quickly in emergency situations. Excellent communication and proven ability to read maps and use GPS systems
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates vehicle to deliver items from company facilities/sites to customer locations, and vice versa
- Ensures safety of items/equipment from theft, vandalism, rain or other environmental factors during loading or unloading and while in transit
- Managing daily scheduled for punctual deliveries; communicates with Logistics Planner regarding risks and changes in schedule
- During exchange of items/equipment to customer, presents item quantities, qualities and completeness to the customer for his/ her acknowledgment
- Explain to customer important information regarding delivered products, such as warranty terms and conditions, safety cautions, storage and handling warnings, and general use of products.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Logistics Planner
Minimum Qualifications
- Restriction Code 1 2 3
- With professional driver's license and at least 1-2 years experience in driving 4W & 6W truck (for drivers)
- With pleasant personality and excellent customer service attitude
- Customer Driven
- Familiar with the different routes within and outside Metro Manila
Successful applicants will be assigned in Head Office.
