Job Description
The Mechanical Assistant is responsible for conducting corrective and preventive maintenance activities on all main engines and auxiliary equipment upon the instruction of superiors in accordance with standard maintenance practices to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all generating units during the shift. He/she also assists in engine room operation under close supervision of the Operations Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year in diesel plant operations or 3 years in allied industry as Mechanic.
- Registered Mechanical Engineer.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
