Job Description
- Identifies, evaluates and pursues business opportunities with partners or potential customers
- Acquires new customers and retains and expands existing customer relationships especially but not limited to the ff:
- used car dealerships
- banks and financial institutes
- auction houses
- certified pre-owned dealerships
- Builds and maintains a close relationship with existing client base and future prospects
- Develops products, services sales and strategies for investigating customers needs
- Produces customized proposals
- Manages a small team of business development officers by setting and managing quotas with KPI's
- Represents the company at applicable meetings and functions
- Collaborates with colleagues and peers in the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction
- Updates himself/herself with regards to company best practices, policies, products, pricing and promotions
- Increases overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
- Liaises directly with operations team to ensure that all regular daily, weekly and monthly client-related tasks are completed in good time
- Assists the company in developing new programs and opportunities related to the buying and selling of pre-owned cars in the Philippines
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in any course
- Minimum 3 years work experience in the automotive industry and/or minimum of three 3 years work experience in a senior sales or business development position at an e-commerce platform
- Knowledgeable in the automotive industry, including the basic principles related to car dealer sales, operations, and marketing
- Relatively experienced with B2B sales
- Proficient in English
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
