Job Description
- Perform a variety of tests, such as regression, integration, platform, and performance testing to confirm the stability of software systems.
- Identify, verify and validate required tests, and report defects.
- Monitor and follow-up status of reported defects until its closure.
- Create detailed or comprehensive test scenarios or test cases.
- Replicate production/site-reported errors or issues in test environments.
- Log project related issues in the defect tracking tool identified for the project.
- Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements.
- Mentors Junior Quality Assurance Engineers and provide proper coaching.
- Reports execution progress on a daily basis to the Senior QA Engineer or QA Team Lead.
- Escalate application issues to Senior QA Engineer/QA Team Lead or those that are related to incompatibility, reliability and functionality.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course.
- With at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledgeable of software QA methodologies, fundamentals, tools and processes
- Able to deliver medium complexity tasks with ease
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have an eye for detail, analytical and good problem-solving skills
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
