Job Description

  • Reviews the Personnel Requisition Forms and recommends approval of the General Manager.
  • Develops and implements recruitment and selection strategies to address the organic manpower demands of the Club.

  • Participates in applicants interview and conducts job offer to qualified applicants upon approval of the General Manager.

  • Analyzes exit interview results and determines the factors affecting the retention of employees.

  • Validates psychological test results submitted by the Recruitment and Training Assistant.

  • Conducts wage and benefits survey within FEDCOHR or labor market to ensure that the Club's compensation and benefits for the employees are at par or better than industry.

  • Plans, directs, supervises and coordinates work activities of HR staff relating to employee benefits and privileges such as company outing, christmas party, medical and dental check ups and reimbursement, sports and fitness, and other related programs to ensure employees' welfare, wellness and health.

  • Ensures that government-mandated benefits are properly administered and complied.

  • Provides advise and assistance to the Recruitment and Training assistant in coordinating in-house trainings for employees which addresses the Club training needs such as Training Needs Assessment, New Employee Orientation, Management Development and other related programs.

  • Reviews the requested external training programs of the department managers and recommends approval to the General Manager.

  • Monitors and ensures the completeness of all training files and records.

  • Develops and updates the Club's Personnel Policies and Procedures and partners with the department heads in communicating such policies to the employees.

  • Participates in the conduct of investigation when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth and advises the General Manager of the resolutions made.

  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable rules and regulations of the Labor Code such as enforcing due process and administering the basic rights of employees.

  • Represents the Management in the Collective Bargaining Agreement; plans and implements strategies to come up with a peaceful and "win-win" negotiation.

  • Plans, directs and supervises the implementation of the Performance Management System that includes employee's performance objecties and development programs.

  • Ensures that performance evaluation of supervisors and staff are periodically monitored and documented.

  • Reviews performance ratings and ranks; recommends necessary merit increases anchored in the normal distribution curve and approved merit increase or performance bonus budget.

  • Spearheads the review and development of the department objectives and allocate necessary budget for the activities.

  • Prepares the department budget and the monthly variance report.

  • Aids in the general office duties of the staff such as but not limited to reviewing memos/communication letters, answering employee’s inquiries, assisting in any claims issuues and listening to employees' issues or grievances if any.

  • Ensures employee’s confidence and protects operations by keeping the HR Information confidential.

  • Performs other HR-related tasks as maybe assigned by the General Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Job Summary:

Under the direction of General Manager, the Assistant Manager for HR plans, directs, supervises and coordinates the various human resource functions which include recruitment, training and development, performance monitoring, compensation and benefits, budget preparation, and employee and labor relations.

Job Qualifications:

  • Has completed a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
  • With at least five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience and hands-on training.
  • Excellent presentation skills and above-average customer service skills.
  • Has strong leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • With strong attention to detail combined with an ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
  • Must be a licensed Psychometrician.
  • Masters in Psychology is an advantage.
  • Willing to work in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.
