Job Description
PURPOSE
- Checks and monitors transactions in relation to loan release; prepares related reports; and informs Credit operations of any discrepancies for remedial action.
- Prepares the needed report/ schedules to facilitate the processing of agents’ commission and accommodation loans.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Loan Release Operations
- Checks loan releases and updates excel daily production.
- Supports LAM Officer 2 in posting the collections on AFP and SSS manual ledgers.
- Receives and files loan release voucher. Pull out ledgers from Loan release vouchers.
- Prepares reports on issues relating to loan release and informs Credit operations of any discrepancies for remedial action.
2. Preparation of Agents’ Commission
- Summarizes and issues commission slip to corresponding agents.
- Prepares daily commission.
- Prepares schedule of commission payable on a monthly (EOM) and yearly (EOY) basis
- Maintains and updates the Commission Payable schedule.
3. Assistance in preparation of financial reports
- Prepares necessary additional schedules and reports as requested by the finance hierarchy with utmost accuracy and adherence to set timelines.
4. Others
- Takes on other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time and in the absence of other LAM officers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy or any finance-related course, CPA is a plus.
- Preferably with 1-2 years and up experience specializing in Finance/Cost/General Accounting or equivalent (e.g. involving posting financial data to ledgers, preparing invoices, billings and/or vouchers, reviewing and coding financial information, and maintaining account balances)
- Knowledge or experience in any accounting system an advantage
- Proficiency in handling/processing/analyzing a high volume of financial data and has demonstrated keen attention to details
- Displays good communication skills and has experience working with different and multi-level groups
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced excel skills
